Book Cover - The Race to Transformation
Client: HSRC Press
The book is a discourse on the transformation of sport in a post-apartheid South Africa. Segregation was a defining factor in sport during the apartheid regime, often being used as a showcase to enforce it’s values. The cover uses dated images depicting white sportsmen that are crudely ‘transformed’ and censored by the raw bands of colour. These colours also make reference to the governing political party, the ANC.
